| Emergency Management is more important today than ever before. The Township has adopted an emergency management plan in preparation for natural or man made disasters. The emergency management staff trains each month through classes offered by Berks County Emergency Management. Maidencreek Township is fortunate to have dedicated volunteers and employees that serve the emergency needs of the Township. 24 hour police protection is provided to Maidencreek Township residents through Northern Berks Regional Police. The Township pays 47.5 percent of the regional police budget. The Township supports the Blandon Ambulance Association and the Blandon Volunteer Fire Company through annual donations. Both groups hold fundraisers throughout the year in order to provide the Township with volunteer service. We ask that you support your local fire company and ambulance in whatever way you can. |
